A NEW CATALOG FOR THE HAINES LIBRARIES
Starting June 29 (for one week only) the library will be open some days for reading, internet use, and summer reading program activities, but patrons will not be able to check out. The library will be closed June 30, July 2, 3, 4, and 5 for staff training and the Independence Day Holiday. PLEASE be sure to check out plenty of materials to last until July 6th. Read More...

TOTEM POLE PROJECT
During the summer of 2009 a Master Carver and other local Native carvers will teach youth to prepare, carve and raise a totem pole. The twenty foot pole will tell the story of the library through the use of traditional and contemporary design. View the Totem Pole Gallery of photos....
