Traditional Trade Routes
We had six panel members from around the community discussing the historical, cultural, and economic role of
traditional trade routes for sustainable communities in isolated rural areas in Alaska and Canada. Over twenty people came to listen to the discussion and thought it was very worthwhile.

One attendee said," Understanding our respective cultures-and having respect for others is very important to sustaining a civil society. I feel more comfortable with people who have come here before me when I hear their views and history from them directly."
